Location: A great place to live, but you wouldn't want to visit

I've updated the profanity filters to be a little more inclusive. I'd prefer to keep this place on the up and up in the event that my Dad ever accidentally logs on.
Let me warn you I'm one of the most profane people I've ever met in one-on-one conversation. "Pull my finger" is also one of the funniest jokes in history when the boys are around the campfire. But on the Internet, it's too easy to type away and amp things up and up. Then, when the unsuspecting true "GUEST" finally shows up, he or she is appalled and will never return.
At first, this felt like a private party and it was fun to exercise our freedom of imagination and test boundaries, just like we did with our instruments. That kind of effort makes us good players. But though this is my private site, it's a very public place. Profanity sticks out like spray-paint on the side of West View Elementary School...
This is a place where I want to put my best foot forward. This is a place I want folks to be attracted to because of the quality of the input. The profanity is just too easy to do when making a point. It's the "Blue Suede Shoes" or MTV's "Real World" of Internet communication.
Keep in mind this is MY SITE. There's no committee running it. Let's make the effort to be clever in communicating. Having said all that, I appreciate the scars of learning perhaps more than the next guy, and I'm glad we've had this experiment early-on, because I love you all!! We tried it, we had some fun with it, and let's move on.
As much as I loved the Chug-A-Mug, there's no ID required to come in here, and folks knew what to expect there. So use those giant brains each and every one of us has. I'm extremely happy to be hosting a place where we can drop by and visit. 'Nuff said!
